Your registration obligations involve the following:

Whilst registering you agree to:

· provide true, accurate, current and complete information as prompted by the registration forms; and

· maintain, keep it up to date, accurate and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete or that the Commonwealth Connects have grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, it has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of its service.

Data privacy policy

Your data and any information about you are subject to our Privacy Policy and will not be divulged to any other person than Commonwealth Connects.

Your member account, password and security

Users will receive a password and account designation upon completing the service registration process. Users will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. Users agree to notify Commonwealth Connects of any unauthorised act of use of account or any other breach of security and ensure that you will exit from your account at the end of each session. The Commonwealth Connects will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the user’s failure to comply with this section.

Digital Library & Software Directory

Users shall have access to free software and documents.  Users agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, or any portion of the software.

Users agree to observe any licensing and special Intellectual Property Laws and Licensing conditions attached to all software and documents provided under this site.

Users agree to indemnify and hold Commonwealth connects and all its affiliates and officers, harmless from any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your or their use, or transmission of the software and documents on a claim of merchantability or fitness of these software and documents.

Users agree to bear all liability and risk arising out of use of the software and documents provided herein, with regard to its quality, performance, connect ability or merchantability. 

Users agree to abide by all the terms and conditions of any software or documents provided as well as any copyright obligations.

Users expressly agree and understand that the use of the service provided under the Digital Library and Software Directory is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “AS IS “and “as available” basis. Commonwealth Connects expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Commonwealth Connects makes no warranty that:
· the service will meet your requirements;
· the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
· the results that will be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable;
· the quality of any software or documents or other material purchased or obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations; and
· any errors in the software will be corrected.

Users agree to obtain prior authorisation in writing from the Commonwealth Secretariat/ Commonwealthconnects@commonwealth.int for the re-posting on commercial sites.

Forums

Users recognize the global nature of the Internet, and agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content.

Users agree not to use the service to upload, post or transmit any content that:

· Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
· Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any person;
· Contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.

The Commonwealth Connects reserves the right to reject any messages or content that infringes the above.

We reserve the right to reject messages which:
· Are racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit, abusive or otherwise objectionable
· Contain swear words or other language likely to offend
· Break the law, condone or encourage unlawful activity. This includes breach of copyright, defamation and contempt of court
· Advertise products and services for profit
· Are seen to impersonate someone else
· Are being repeatedly posted (known as "spam") Include contact details such as phone numbers, postal or e-mail addresses


Project Marketplace


Users agree to use this service as a marketplace for project owners to be matched with project sponsors.  Users make use of this facility at their own risk and liability.
The Commonwealth Connects makes no warranty that a project posted on its website will be funded.
